Product Introduction
The Eddy Current Separator is used for the efficient separation and recovery of non-ferrous metals from mixed waste, such as municipal solid waste, industrial waste, bottom ash, electronic waste, and scrap automobile waste. These types of waste often contain non-ferrous metals like copper and aluminum. After shredding, the use of the Eddy Current Separator can automatically separate and recover these metals, effectively increasing the value-added content of the product.

Working Principle
1. Generate High-Frequency Alternating Magnetic Field:
Inside the equipment, there is a high-speed rotating permanent magnet drum made of high-performance magnetic materials like neodymium. This rotating drum generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field.
2. Metal Induces Eddy Currents:
As mixed materials (such as shredded electronic waste, glass fragments, etc.) pass through this high-frequency alternating magnetic field on the conveyor belt, the non-ferrous metals with good conductivity (such as copper and aluminum) will generate strong eddy currents due to electromagnetic induction.
3. Eddy Currents Create Repulsion Force for Separation:
The eddy currents themselves generate a magnetic field that opposes the original magnetic field. According to the principle of “like repels like,” the non-ferrous metals experience a strong repulsive force (Lorentz force), causing them to be ejected from the material flow. Non-metallic materials (such as plastic, glass, wood, etc.) are unaffected and continue their original trajectory, thus achieving separation.
